New Youth worker

Jo Smith started her new job as Threshold's Youth Worker recently and has spent time meeting lots of people and trying to get to grips with the phenomena that is "Threshold". She is leading our new Youth Work team which includes CYM (Centre for Youth Ministry) students Anna Hagens and Ali Gilfillan, as they seek to both entertain and guide our young people in growing closer to God and stronger in their faith. The recent Youth Residential was a success in more ways than one. It was a great weekend of activity, fun and teaching, but also helped the youth team get to know the young people of Threshold and their friends very quickly.

ACCESS is the great new name for youth related events. ACCESS POINT gives the young people the opportunity to discuss their thoughts on faith and other issues by following a Youth Alpha course. For creative (and probably louder) ways to praise, ACCESS WORSHIP is available on a fortnightly basis to all young people from Year 7 age upwards.
